This old, unusual, collector's bowl is in the shape of a cauldron and has a broad and thin rim that gently slopes inwards. The inside of the bowl shows beautiful signs of its age and is well worn. There are no decorative inscriptions on the bowl, other than a few concentric circles at the centre of the floor.
This bowl has a dominating base note, and is responsive when rubbed with a felt tip mallet. This bowl is also able to produce a hand wah wah effect easily. The overtones produced are harmonious and well balanced.
