Service

  • Where are you located and can I visit your store?
    Tibet Shop Sydney is an online store and we don't have a physical location that you can visit unfortunately. This also helps us manage our costs and ensure that we are able to offer good prices to our customers.
    Our stock is located in Sydney. If an item is out of stock, the page you are viewing will say so and you will not be able to purchase the item.

  • Who runs the store?
    Kunga runs Tibet Shop Sydney. You can learn more about us in the About Page. 

Shipping

  • Where do you ship?
    We ship to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, USA and Europe (select countries). If you are in another country, please contact us using Live Chat or the Contact page and we will get a freight quote for you.

  • How fast can you deliver?
    We offer an express post (Australia Post) option at checkout for $12 (0-2 kgs) and $25 (2-7 kgs). Majority of deliveries (e.g. Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane metro) are completed next day. More information is available through Australia Post (https://auspost.com.au/sending/delivery-speeds-and-coverage) 
    Other deliveries are on the standard parcel post network and take slightly longer (e.g. Sydney-Melbourne or Sydney local can take 2-3 business days).
     
  • What shipping methods do you offer?
    Where possible, we use Australia Post for all deliveries. Our standard deliveries are via Parcel Post. You can also book an Express delivery option at checkout for $10 (0-2 kgs), $20 (2-7 kgs). More information is available on our Shipping Page.

  • How long do you take to post orders?
    Our usual service standard is to pack and post all items within 2 working days. Some items that require special packing (e.g. XL singing bowls, gongs, etc) may take longer as we may have to source the right packing material. You will receive an email confirmation once your item has been sent with a tracking number.

Updating Your Order

  • Can I change my order?
    Orders cannot be changed once they have been shipped and a confirmation sent. If this is not the case, then please contact us and we will change the order for you. 

  • Can I cancel my order?
    You can cancel your order if we have not already packed and posted your item.

  • I need help choosing a singing bowl. 
    We are more than happy to help you choose the right singing bowl. A good starting point would be listen to the video/audio recordings and see which bowl connects the most with you. We have a blog on this topic as well:

  • Where do you source your bowls from?
    We buy our singing bowls from reputable wholesalers and manufacturers in Nepal and sometimes India. All our bowls are made in small workshops and never mass produced.

  • What are your singing bowls made from?
    Our bowls are all made from copper and tin alloy (80-20), popularly known as bell metal. There may be other elements present as well in trace amounts. 

  • What if I am not entirely happy with the bowl that I chose?
    We will be more than happy to work with you and see if we can find something that you like or refund your money. The bowl is a tool for relaxation and peace of mind. So there's no joy in us selling a bowl and you being unhappy.

Returns 

  •  I would like to organise a return? What do I do?
    Please contact us and we will give you a return address to send your item to. 
    Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
    Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Please choose jewelry items carefully since we do not offer refunds. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and issue a refund less shipping.
