4” Amitayus (Long Life Buddha) Statue

This beautiful mini (4 inch) statue of long life Buddha Amitayus is made of copper and has been gold plated using traditional casting techniques. When sourcing this particular statue, we decided to go with the best quality we could find where details in the statue were quite visible/fine. From our experience, 4" is the minimum size necessary for the intricate details of the statue to become visible and for its overall finish to be fully appreciated.

About Amitayus

Buddha Amitayus, whose name means "Infinite Life," is a significant figure in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, often associated with longevity and the nectar of immortality. He is considered a manifestation of Buddha Amitabha, the Buddha of Infinite Light. Amitayus is typically depicted as a peaceful deity wearing ornaments and a crown, holding a vase containing the elixir of immortality, and is one of the three main long-life deities alongside White Tara and Ushnishavijaya (Namgyalma).

Care Instructions

Never touch the face of the statue as the oil from your fingers will place dirt marks and wipe off the gold painting. Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the body/base of the statue.
