108 beads Rudraksha Mala

Rudraksha is the holiest of beads in Vedic culture and worn for protection and chanting. It is associated with Lord Shiva, who himself wears a rudraksha garland. Such malas have been used by Hindus from the 10th century for meditation and to sanctify the mind, body, and spirit.

Good quality rudraksha has a hard surface and well defined grooves. This mala's rudraksha beads have been sourced from Indonesia, even though such beads are more common in India and Nepal. The beads measure approximately 8 mms and are of superior quality with 8 faces (‘mukhs’) and an A-grade guru bead.  These beads are flatter compared to our 6 face rudraksha malas.

The mala is approximately 34 inches round in circumference or 17 inches long on one side.

Tip: Pls note that this mala is adjustable and can be tightened by sliding the knot next to the Guru bead.
