This beautiful original painting has been created by skilled thangka painters from Nepal. At the centre of the mandala is a Double Vajra, representing the indestructible nature of the enlightened mind. The compassion mantra, Om Mani Padme hung extends radially outwards and is surrounded by the four auspicious symbols and a star, arranged in a lotus pattern. All text is in the Tibetan script.
The sound of Om is associated with purification whilst reciting the sacred mantra Om Mani Padme Hung is used to cultivate compassion during meditation.
