This beautiful miniature thangka pendant features the compassion mantra 'Om Mani Padme Hung' in the centre of a mandala. Each syllable of this sacred mantra arises from the petal and bud of a flower in the centre. 

Om mani padme hum, a six-syllable Sanskrit mantra, resonates deeply within Tibetan Buddhism. It embodies the essence of compassion, linked to the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, known for their unwavering empathy. Each syllable carries symbolic weight. "Om" represents the ultimate reality, "mani" signifies a jewel, and "padme" translates to lotus flower, symbolizing the potential for transformation and purity. "Hum" signifies the indivisible union of method and wisdom, crucial for achieving enlightenment.
