This beautiful original painting features a double vajra (thunderbolt) in the centre, surrounded by the compassion mantra (Om Mani Padme Hung) in Tibetan script in a circular pattern. The outer mandala features a repeat of the compassion mantra, in large and vibrant calligraphy.
The vajra is also a symbol of protection, whilst reciting the compassion mantra is often used in meditation.
