These are the smaller version of the traditional prayer flags that you may have seen in temples and Buddhist monuments. The flags are hung to promote love, peace, compassion and harmony and have prayers written on them, which Buddhists believe are carried by the wind horse (Tibetan: Lung-ta) for the benefit of all sentient beings.
Hang the flags up high and in a clean place where it can flutter freely. Due to the relatively small size of this prayer flag, it can be used both indoors and outdoors.
