Naga Singing Bowl (Pedestal) - Base Note D4 300 Hz
Naga Singing Bowl (Pedestal) - Base Note D4 300 Hz
This is a wonderful bowl for those that are looking for a clean tone and a relatively higher pitch/frequency (you can hear this in the HD audio snippet). The bowl rings beautifully and is easy to play. All our singing bowls are sold as is and come with a free playing mallet.
Originating in the Himalayan region, Naga or pedestal singing bowls are the most unique from all Tibetan Bowls. They are made up of two distinct parts: one is the usual round singing bowl whilst the other is the stand that the bowl has been fixed to. Therefore it is the only bowl that can be held and moved around the body or around the space.
Naga bowls are well suited for meditation, mantra chanting and healing. These bowls are also very easy to play/responsive and produce a serene sound with long decay that builds quickly .
TIP: Pedestal bowls are used in healing therapies since they sit very well on the back and shoulders.
