Zambala Thangka Pendant
Zambala Thangka Pendant
This beautiful miniature thangka pendant features the Buddhist wealth deity Zambala. Wealth deities ensure that practitioners are comfortable and prosper so that they can focus on the spiritual path ahead (it is hard for beginners to think about spirituality if basic needs are not met first).
Zambala is the Tibetan Buddhist deity of wealth and prosperity. He is depicted seated on a lotus throne, symbolizing purity and enlightenment. His serene expression exudes tranquility and inner peace, while his posture, with legs crossed in a relaxed manner, signifies stability and calm. In his left hand, Zambala holds a mongoose, which is believed to spit out precious jewels, representing the deity’s ability to bestow wealth and abundance. His right hand typically holds a jewel-spouting conch shell, representing the spread of the Dharma.
