Standard Bodhi Seed Mala
Standard Bodhi Seed Mala
Bodhi trees are indigenous to Nepal and the Himalayan region. Bodhi beads can be identified by the eye patterns that occur naturally on them. Almost every Tibetan monk can be seen with a Bodhi mala in their hand or wrapped around their wrist.
Why are Bodhi Malas Special?
The word 'Bodhi' means 'awakened' in Sanskrit and many devotees use these beads to achieve their full spiritual potential. It is an excellent choice for personal, daily use in prayer and meditation. In fact, many people use this as a general 'all-rounder' mala for various spiritual practices.
Our Bodhi Mala
The beads in this Bodhi mala are 10-12 mm, and round in shape. This mala is of excellent value too as smaller beads tend to be more expensive. It has been lightly stained and polished with vegetable oil. Note that the price of such malas have decreased substantially in the last 2-3 years due to increased supply.
